Wow, that was so much fun.
This past week at the RT program we had a special Chanukah activity that was fun, educational and even tasty!

First we learned all about the upcoming Holiday Of Chanukah with many of its various customs. We learned about the awesome miracle of the Jewish nations survival despite it being outnumbered by its enemies. Lighting the Menorah, playing with the dreidel, eating Dougnuts and getting Chanukah Gelt; are some of the exciting customs we are looking forward to practicing this holiday.

After our lesson on Chanuka we each got to make our very own edible Menorah to take home and share with our family. We "glued: our cookies to the Menorah base with honey and used candy corn as our flames. They came out looking adorable and very appetizing.

At the end of the class we were delighted to hear that next week all of the Queens RT programs will be gathering for a " Grand Pre-Chanuka Concert". Check back next week for pictures of us at the concert.
