Week of 11/25/2009

This week we learned all about the our forefather Jacob and his dream with the ladder.

Week of 11/18/2009

This week we learned all about the first Jewish marriage between our forefather Issac and his wife Rebecca.

We also had a great time making Jewish bookmarks and one group began a Chanukah woodworking project.

Week of 11/4/2009

We discussed the Torah portion of the week in which we learned about incredible hospitality of Abraham, our forefather, and how he loved to invite guests into his home. At the ripe old age of 100, G-d blessed Abraham with a son whom he named Issac.
At the end of the class, we played a fun game of charades depicting the events of the parsha (Torah portion).

We learned about the first Jew, Abraham and how he came to an understanding of one G-d.
